






























Looking forward towards 2012, Propeller will continue developing our collaboration with one of the world leaders when it comes to innovation and sustainability, Panasonic.
A new collaboration with a Taiwanese LED manufacturer has been initiated. Propeller’s role will be as a partner, supplying Design Strategy and Product Design for future lighting solutions.
Propeller has signed an agreement to become a strategic design partner of Aptus (subsidiary of ASSA Abloy). Several projects are already in progress, the results of which are expected to be released next year.
We would like to extend a warm welcome to our two new guest designers – Mr. Murakami and Mr. Nakamura. They will be hanging out at our offices for a couple of weeks, working with us on an exciting new project just like Mr. Fuji did last year, and as then, we expect it to be great fun!
From September 22, Propeller will be displaying our innovative e-bicycle concept EVELO at the 2011 Taipei World Design Expo held in Taipei, Taiwan. We are very enthusiastic about the opportunity to take part in this event, which is hosted by the International Design Alliance and the Government of Taiwan, and held in parallel with the 2011 IDA Congress.
We are really happy to welcome design engineer Niklas Briheim into the Propeller family. Apart from great surface modeling skills and a wide knowledge in product development, his programming skills will also be very valuable in our interaction design projects. Welcome Niklas!

The classic Swedish brand Kronan and Propeller has initiated an exciting collaboration focusing on Design Strategy. As for now we can’t tell you much more than that the outcome will roll.
Richard Looft, CEO and founder of Looft Industries for whom Propeller has designed the Looftlighter, has been nominated for the title Årets Erövrare 2010 (Conqurer of the year 2010) by the Swedish business magazine Veckans Affärer. Looftlighter has presence in 20 countries today and the sales double every year. Propeller wishes Richard good luck and hopes that he wins the well deserved title.
Propeller will be tutoring the Interaction Design year 1 students at Umeå Institute of Design during November and December in a project together with Fixturlaser. We are looking forward to ten inspiring and fun weeks with a lot of creative discussions and fresh ideas.

Propeller has initiated a project with one of Sweden’s leading entertainment providers. The project puts strong focus on the user experience and will involve both Product and Interaction design. More info to come.
Propeller has recently started a brand new collaboration with one of the worlds leading consumer electronics companies. The assigment is to, together with the client, further develop and define their design guidelines and to design a product for one of their product segments.
We are now very happily settled into our new offices on Hornsgatan on busy Södermalm in Stockholm. After having carefully renovated and redecorated our part of this mid-18th century building, we believe we have found an appealing balance between heritage and minimalism.
We thought it was about time to give our website a well deserved makeover. We hope you like it, please let us know what you think! In addition to a fresh new look, we have gone through all the content, making sure that everything is clear and concise and that the information is easy to find. We have added our latest projects and made sure that the news section is up to date.
We have recently started a new project, helping a large client in the medical technology business to create and implement their interaction design strategy. We are happy to be working with this new client, and see great possibilities for further collaborations in the future.
Propeller has started working with an international softgoods brand, creating exciting products for a global market.
